DANA'S STORY
How it All Started
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Dana’s life changed at the age of 10 when she was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis, a rare autoimmune condition that left her paralyzed from the waist down.
At 13, through her mother’s persistence and unwavering belief, Dana was introduced to wheelchair tennis. What began as a new challenge quickly became a lifeline. Through the sport, Dana rediscovered her independence, built confidence, and uncovered a fierce competitive drive that would propel her to the world stage.
